The reason behind ‘Business Chic’

I decided to start this publication with one goal in mind: Female empowerment through Style.

Clothes can be a powerful tool for female empowerment, providing women with a means to express themselves, challenge gender stereotypes, promote their values, and project an image of confidence and success. By understanding the role of clothes in female empowerment, women can use them to their advantage and make a positive impact in the world while feeling good about themselves.

I have been using my workoutfits as a way to promote my values and project my confidence. Hence, why I can confirm that the clothes I choose to wear for work are part of my success at my work. Success is of course purely subjective, but we’ll talk about that later. Let’s move forward. Into the future.

The Future is Female

One of the most critical aspects of female empowerment in business is representation. Seeing women in leadership positions sends a powerful message to younger generations that anything is possible. It’s essential for women to have role models they can look up to and aspire to be like, which is why representation is crucial.

I’ve already come across some other powerwomen and leaders throughout my career, but I’ve also met the ones that do not really cheer for another woman’s success. And let me tell you this, whether you’re just starting out with your career, or you’ve been in the game quite a while, you’ll have to deal with both types of women, always. No matter where you go, the grass will not be greener on the other side when it comes to this aspect of your career. Either way, make sure to not lose your focus, and use your voice!

Empowered Women Empower Women

There is so much more us women can do to empower and be empowered through little things. Whether it be through complimenting each other more often, or vouch for each other, share personal success stories, and share tips and tricks. Hence, why I decided to start this publication.

I won’t be doing all the talking though, I want to hear your voice too! I want us to engage with each other through the comments section and/or the chat, and create a community and network of women who rock the world in style.

I want to use this publication to help you find your style and your voice. I want you to become the best version of yourself and be succesful on your terms while looking good. Because when you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, there’s no limits in what you can accomplish.

I mean, I truly cannot be the only woman in business that is obsessed with choosing her workoutfits so carefully according to the occasion. I cannot be the only woman that has “poweroutfits”. Even if you’re not doing this consciously today, you are most definitely doing it subconsciously. Trust me, once you realise that clothes can have an impact on your success, you will become obsessed too.
